Job Summary
House of Born2fro is seeking a results-driven WhatsApp & Social Media Sales Representative to engage customers, answer product inquiries, and convert social media conversations into successful sales.
This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about customer engagement, social selling, and helping customers find the right haircare solutions. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and other social platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Sales & Product Recommendations
- Respond to customer inquiries across WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and other social channels.
- Build trust by providing accurate haircare advice and product recommendations.
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products based on hair type, concerns, and goals.
- Explain product benefits, ingredients, and expected results clearly.
- Guide customers through the buying process and encourage additional product purchases where appropriate.
- Organize and manage customer conversations efficiently.
Customer Service & Order Support
- Assist customers with placing orders and completing payments.
- Follow up on pending inquiries and inactive leads.
- Track customer orders and provide delivery updates when required.
- Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales journey.
Performance Expectations
- Meet response time and customer service targets.
- Achieve sales conversion goals.
- Follow established sales and communication procedures.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.
Work Schedule
The role operates on a rotating five-day work week:
- Shift A: Monday to Friday
- Shift B: Wednesday to Sunday
This schedule includes occasional weekend work with alternating weekends off.
Working Hours
- 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM daily
- Two-hour break period included
- Mostly remote with occasional office attendance for training and team sessions
Training & Recruitment Process
Successful candidates will undergo product and haircare training before final selection.
Training will cover:
- Basic haircare education
- African hair types and styling needs
- Common hair concerns and solutions
- Product ingredients and benefits
- Haircare routines and product combinations
- Customer guidance and recommendations
Requirements
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:
- Strong sales and customer service skills.
- Excellent written communication abilities.
- Confidence engaging customers through WhatsApp and social media.
- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- Interest in beauty, haircare, and e-commerce sales.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
