Key Responsibilities
As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
- Customizing themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
- Ensuring websites are responsive, secure, and user-friendly.
- Troubleshooting website issues and implementing timely solutions.
- Managing website updates, backups, and security measures.
- Optimizing websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Collaborating with designers, content creators, and project teams.
- Integrating third-party tools, plugins, and APIs when required.
Requirements
To qualify for this role, candidates should have:
- Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS, themes, and plugin development.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience using Elementor or similar page builders.
- Understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
Candidates with the following skills will have an added advantage:
- Experience with WooCommerce and e-commerce websites.
- Advanced knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Familiarity with hosting platforms and server environments such as cPanel and Cloudways.
