Key Responsibilities
Successful candidates will:
- Deliver sales, distribution, and profitability targets.
- Expand market penetration across all trade channels.
- Manage distributor performance and ensure achievement of key performance indicators.
- Supervise Area Sales Managers and Field Executives.
- Ensure product availability, visibility, and accessibility.
- Develop strategies to increase market share and revenue growth.
- Monitor sales trends and implement corrective actions.
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Execute trade marketing and promotional activities.
- Manage key accounts and major distributors.
- Coordinate sales team training and development.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
Requirements
Applicants should possess:
Educational Qualification
- HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum of seven years’ experience in FMCG sales.
- At least three years in a managerial or leadership position.
- Proven experience in Oil, Edible Oils, Palm Oil, Soya Oil, Seasoning, or Food categories.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong distributor and territory management skills.
- Commercial and strategic business acumen.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in sales reporting and performance analysis.
- Willingness to travel within assigned territories.
