The Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship (VCIS) is awarded to recognise academic excellence for international students.

Scholarship Criteria for the 2026 Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor Scholarships:
The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor Scholarship is available to full-time international students who are beginning an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree (excluding Graduate Certificates and Global MBA courses). The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible:
- Achieve a minimum WAM equivalent of 65 for postgraduate applications or a minimum ATAR equivalent of 85 for undergraduate applications.
- Begin your academic pursuits during the session and year specified in your scholarship offer letter.

Your tuition fee will be offset by the scholarship amount, which ranges from $1,000 to $10,000. It is non-renewable.
