The ECOWAS Young Graduates Immersion Programme 2027 is now accepting applications from young graduates across West Africa. The programme provides a 12 month professional immersion opportunity for graduates to gain practical experience within ECOWAS institutions and agencies.
Since its launch, the programme has provided young professionals with opportunities to work across various ECOWAS institutions while developing professional skills and contributing to regional integration.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants for the 2027 programme must meet the following requirements:
- Be a citizen of an ECOWAS member state.
- Be between 18 and 32 years old at the time of application.
- Hold a Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
- Have a qualification relevant to the position being applied for.
- Be proficient in at least one ECOWAS working language: English, French or Portuguese.
Eligible countries include Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger, Burkina Faso, Benin, Cabo Verde and Togo.

Note: ECOWAS has not yet confirmed the stipend amount for the 2027 batch. Previous programme information indicated different stipend levels depending on whether participants were posted within or outside their home country.
